In just hours, May Day arrives.

Two of the most potent cosmic gateways of the year converge on May 1st — Wesak Buddha Moon and ancient pagan Beltane. A special day of celebration weaving together the sacred rituals of Lord Buddha with the Celtic Fire Circle and Maypole.

THE FIRE OF BELTANE

Beltane ignites a surge of life force energy, sacred heat and creation magic that ancient rites were built to contain, direct and release. Beltane stands at the threshold of summer — a night where fire, fertility and spirit currents collide in a wild, joyous celebration of being fully alive.

Annual Beltane rings in nature’s wild abundance, fertile soil and bursting seeds of life. It is a time of fertility, passion and life in full bloom — where the energy of creation, connection and abundance is at its strongest.

And then there is the May Queen.

Everyone focuses on her as this soft, floral symbol — but she wasn’t just a lovely lady. She was the land, the elements, the vital force of nature. Chosen, honored, embodying sovereignty itself.

In this year of the Fire Horse, let’s honor the flame within, celebrate the beauty around us and step boldly on the path of light into growth, joy and possibility.

THE HOLY LIGHT OF WESAK

At the same time, the sacred Wesak Full Moon rises — honoring the birth, enlightenment and ascension of Lord Gautama Buddha.

This holy day commemorates three pivotal events in the life of Lord Buddha — his birth, enlightenment and ascension into Nirvana. It is believed that on Wesak, the Buddha returns to the earthly realm to deliver a message of illumination to humanity, catalyzing an evolutionary leap in consciousness.

This is a holy moment in our evolution — a cosmic Quickening, when Light floods the Field, transmitting higher consciousness into the Earth grid and awakening the collective.

This Full Flower Moon also carries the nurturing presence of the Divine Mother, supporting deep inner healing, revelations and renewal.
