There may also be a pull to cling to the past: to unconscious behavior, old stories, ancestral patterns that are familiar but no longer serve. Jupiter in Cancer can make the old world feel more comforting than the new one being born. The work is to feel the pull forward and consciously choose expansion over regression.

Carl Jung spent much of his life mapping what modern Western culture had rejected.
